Jirik Family Farms

Jirik Family Farms Jirik family farm is a small farm that produces many different products! We are a small farm but we work with a lot of different things.

We are involved in maple syrup production, bee keeping/honey production, raising cattle and organic farming. We also raise sweet corn and other vegetables in the summer and market them along with our other products at multiple farmers markets and some stores in the area.

LOCAL FEATURE: JIRIK FAMILY FARMS
Sweetness from Down the Road 🍁

We’re proud to feature maple syrup from Jirik Family Farms on our menu—because nothing beats the real thing poured over warm hotcakes in the morning. 💛

You’ll also find it drizzled on our Bodega Breakfast Sandwich, available all week on our Lunch and Brunch menus. Jirik is a small family-run farm just 12 miles from Faribault, where they grow organic grains, raise cattle and bees, and tap their woods for this incredible syrup.

Next time you’re in, enjoy a taste of local goodness—and don’t forget to grab a bottle from our retail area to take home!

When you dine with us, you support local farmers and their families. 💙

This week on AgweekTV, the Biden administration will allow summer sales of E15. Some residents of Casselton, North Dakota, are concerned about plans for a soybean processing plant. We'll look at how today's wild economics affect one of the region's important salvage part and scrap businesses. And…

The 2021 maple season has been an odd one so far due to the weather we've been having, but we are up and running! This year we updated one of our woods and took on another woods to line and tap putting our total tap count up to around 3,000. The season snuck up on us as we went from 2 weeks of negative temps then shifting to 40 above. A lot of family and friends have helped out in getting ready for the season to make it all come together! The weather looks very favorable for sap flow the next 2 weeks so we hope to make a lot of syrup in that time. If you would like to see the operation let us know and we can tell you when we will be cooking!
