folks n friends and friends of folks, we have big news…our first ever shaper showcase is happening! super excited to collaborate with as our first artist. may 22nd he will be bringing a quiver of his finest to talk about his work and show em off. one of these special boards will go up for raffle for in july.
come out and support the art of guys still sandin n glassin… will be playing and will be slingin dogs 5-10 and proceeds will benefit may 22nd!!!!

An amazing year has really made it to the top of the mountain with an ascent to a World Beer Cup Silver medal for the Swells’a team in Philly, for one of everybody’s favorite pilsner, Pea Island Park Pilsner! With the hard work from everybody in the back, the support of an incredible Swells’a team, encouragement from our prodigious community, and anyone else who has helped along the way! We are beyond stoked, and humbled with this medal, excited to keep this beach truck between the mustard and the mayo on its way forward, and full of beer!

maybe this is a chance for deep introspection into the souls of watermen and women. maybe its a call to action. maybe its a seance for sunken ships and drunken sailors. or maybe its all of these to the folks with salt in their veins. our vessels are life rafts to cling onto hopes and dreams. weather it be a shrimp boat, a tugboat, an onboard or outboard, a few balsa logs tied together, a luxury liner, a plastic swan with pedals, an inflatable dolphin floaty, or 24 real live squeaky dolphins pulling neptunes golden chariot…its a lively hood and a lifestyle. yacht life, an italian pilsner born from salty hands and a love for being on the worlds wettest waters, wherever they may be.
shes perfect, just like our yard ornament skiffs.

cant believe in two weeks we will be celebrating whalebones 50th anniversary! 50 years of bringing so much stoke to the beach…so in turn we are throwing a banger of a birthday. may 26th, from 5-10 we will be partying with the whalebone crew, and and all you fine folks that have bought a board, repped a bikini or stolen a bar of wax from one of our oldest surfboard slingin’ shops. bring the family, bring a friend, bring the dog, or just bring yourself, its gonna be a night of good times!
