Ok peeps - this is a new item we have never sold before and if you like experimenting with new foods this should be one we all try this year. Apparently it's an age old crop that we can use in so many ways ( soups, purees, pies, Baked goods, roasted) if you like Butternut squash, acorn squash, pumpkin then this huge beauty will be a new item in your seasonal foods.

The weekend is calling you! Stop by and grab something just a little different than the normal store bought. We now carry small batch , fresh tortilla chips to compliment our SC made salsa. Grab some roma tomatoes, a lime or 2, some avocado, fresh cilantro and your choice of onion and create a delicious weekend semi- healthy treat!!! ENJOY

🌱 Pea shoots might just be my favorite microgreen to grow.

There’s something about them that reminds me of spring — that fresh, sweet flavor of early May peas, but in a tender little green shoot.

They’re so easy to use, too. I love them on chicken salad wraps, avocado toast, eggs, sandwiches, and salads. I’ve even made a quick fresh pesto with them, and it was delicious.

We’re dropping off fresh pea shoots this morning at Tarheel Too produce market, along with:

🥦 Broccoli
🌿 Arugula
❤️ Radish
🥬 Kale

If you’ve never tried pea shoots before, this is a great week to grab some. Fresh, slightly sweet, crisp, and full of spring flavor. 💚
