OBX Winery is the first and only winery on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Because we are part of a new trend of urban wineries, we do not farm grapes, we just make wine and we do it in a location convenient for our customers to visit and sample our offerings. We are not limited to what grew in our vineyard each year and therefore our wines tend to be consistent and available all the time. We also do not have to store wines for years to allow them to concentrate their flavors or to blend better years with not-so-good ones in order to make a palatable product. We adjust the grape must before we make the wine - as the saying goes "better ingredients, better..." you get the point. Since we make everything by hand in small quantities, we also give individual attention to your wine. We can make you a custom wine of your choice, sweetened to your taste, with your own personal label in about 30 days (minimum 2 cases.)
