Just at some Muscovies on the roof of the shed. We have a few that like to roost up there every night instead of going in the pen.

Our girl Nyx is 16 weeks and doing so well. She’s learning new things everyday! Had her first Vet appointment since being with us and is growing fast at 58.5 #.

Cerberus Farms LLC really does a wonderful job with these pups and we are so thankful for all your hard work and dedication. She really is such a wonderful pup.

Make sure you’re polite to mother nature…
No thank you ma’am, no thank you!

❄️ SNOWBIRDBOB’S WINTER 2026–2027 PRECIPITATION ZONES ❄️

Here is a closer look at how precipitation could be distributed across the country this winter based on our El Niño and atmospheric-blocking analog blend.

🟠 BELOW NORMAL: Much of the northern United States is favored to finish the winter with below-normal precipitation overall.

⚪ NEAR NORMAL: A broad corridor across the central United States could experience precipitation closer to seasonal averages.

🔵 ABOVE NORMAL: A wetter southern storm track is favored from the Southwest and Southern Plains through the Southeast, with that wetter influence potentially expanding into portions of the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic.

⚠️ THE BATTLEGROUND AREA: This corridor may experience some of the winter’s sharpest temperature swings and a variety of hazards—including severe thunderstorms, ice, sleet and snow—depending on the position of individual storm systems and available cold air.

Our primary analog years are 2009–10, 1982–83, 1997–98, 1957–58 and 2015–16.

Remember, this is a seasonal precipitation outlook—not a snowfall-total forecast. Above-normal precipitation does not automatically mean above-normal snowfall, and below-normal areas can still experience significant individual storms.

Independent seasonal outlook produced by SnowbirdBob Weather; not affiliated with NOAA or the National Weather Service.

Do you live inside the battleground area? Let us know your location, and please share the outlook! 👀❄️

Finally able to sit down for a moment and share our newest addition to Humble Beginnings!!

Welcome to your new home Nyx! Absolutely love her already! We made to trip to meet the breeder Cerberus Farms LLC in Wisconsin. Did some sightseeing with my son Alec along the way. Spent a couple days with my big bro in Detroit, before continuing home with this beautiful pup.

Also, my son’s birthday was Friday the 21st, so on the way home, I took him to the Pro Football Hall of Fame! It was so good to spend quality time with my youn man and see him so happy!

Hey, you guys! Guess what finally happened?!
Larry And Lynn have finally figured out how to properly nest and hatch babies! We are so excited to finally have our first geese hatching on our Homestead.

As you can see in the video, they are very proud, protective parents. To be fair, Larry can sometimes be a complete bu****le when breeding season hits, but at least now he has a good reason to be 😂 ❤️
