July 25th 2024:
What we thought was a regular storm turned into something much worse. A landspout tornado hit hard and fast. High winds and hail caused so much damage. Roofs lifted and 4 pivots knocked over. But the most stressful was the corn. The hail shredded so many acres during tasseling, the most crucial time. With contracts already in place we really didn't know how we were going to make it. With prayer we pressed on. Repaired damage and harvested what we could. Miraculously we filled all of our contracts AND had more to sell. All glory to God for hearing our prayers and blessing our family!
