We have some 4’x5’ round bales of hay for sale from the 2022 hay crop. They are baled very tightly and are predominantly tall fescue. All of the bales have been kept under roof and are suitable for horses.

Newsome Farm was recently honored to be named a North Carolina Century Farm. The farm has been in our family for over 100 years and has evolved with the family interests and markets. One interesting fact about the farm is that poultry has been on the farm longer than any other commodity or livestock species. The farm was home to several chicken houses and a poultry feed business beginning in the 1930’s.

Today, we have several commodities including poultry, commercial beef cattle, horses, and high quality hay. We focus on family values and being good stewards of the land and look forward to seeing what the next 100 years holds for Newsome Farm!
