🌱 A Little Update From Start Fresh Farm 🌱

August was a VERY busy month for us, and honestly… the months ahead are going to be just as busy! ❤️

We have some BIG changes coming over the next year. We’re preparing to put our house on the market and eventually move out to our property so we can begin our new build. This is something we’ve worked incredibly hard toward, and we’re so excited for what this next chapter will bring! 🏡🌱

With that being said, we also know there will be a lot of stress and changes along the way. Between working full-time, raising children with busy schedules, preparing for fall and winter crops, running the farm, and getting ready for this huge transition… life is definitely going to be a little crazy! 😅

So please bear with us and continue following along on our journey. ❤️

There may be times when we fall short, a delivery we aren’t able to make, something we don’t get planted, or things simply don’t happen the way we planned. We’re doing our best with the time and resources we have.

But please know this…

The passion we have for this farm just doesn’t quiet down. 🌱

We truly believe this is our calling—not only for our family, but for our friends and our community. We have worked SO hard to get where we are, and we are incredibly thankful for every person who has supported us, purchased from us, shared our posts, encouraged us, or simply followed along.

There is SO much more to come. ❤️

The property has such a peaceful, calming feeling to it that reminds us we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be. And once we finally have our new home and the big house is finished, it is going to make a WORLD of difference for our farm, our business, and our ability to keep up with everything we dream of doing.

For now, we’re taking things one step at a time. 🌱

As we prepare for fall crops, winter, the new build, and everything else life is throwing at us, we just ask for a little patience and understanding.

Unfortunately, I did not get the August newsletter completed. 😅 Life got the best of me this month!

Yall we appreciate everyone’s love and support. Our little farm has been in its ups and down but we are still here!
The only crops that are really producing is okra and green onions. The heat is brutal but after the solar build, we have been able to water consistently! We are never going to give up on our dream to provide healthy organic produce to our families and friends along with the community!
We have been working on fall crops but of course we have a new little friend that a hawk can pick up anytime! 🐰
Next market and Everybody Rents is on September 5! We got a whole bunch of vendors out some really yummy and cool stuff!

This heat has our crops struggling!
We have eggs. scallions, okra, spicy peppers, eggplant, and fresh herbs.
I have been trying to take some pictures and get new products for the shelves.
The solar build and life has really put something on the back burner!

❤️☀️ FIRST, WE HAVE TO GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE! ☀️❤️

The husband of the farm has worked SO incredibly hard to make this happen. Countless hours, dedication, sweat, problem-solving, and never giving up. I am beyond proud of him and so thankful for everything he has poured into this farm. 🥹❤️

And now… WE’RE LIVE! ⚡☀️

Our solar build is up and running, we are officially OFF GRID, and WE HAVE POWER! 🔋🙌

Best of all… watering the farm is no longer an issue! 🌱💦

This is such a HUGE step for us and our little farm dream. We’ve worked hard for this, and seeing it all come together is an amazing feeling.

WE HAVE POWER, Y’ALL! 🎉☀️🔋
