Wayne County Customers, We Have Exciting News!

Rocky Ridge Farm is now a producer vendor with the Wayne County Food Locker program!

This means you can now pick up your Rocky Ridge Farm orders at one of three convenient Wayne County locations:
Waymart
Hawley
Lakewood

How does it work?
1. Place your order online on our farm website as usual.
https://rocky-ridgefarm.com
2. Choose your preferred Food Locker location at checkout.
3. We deliver your order to the locker.
4. You'll receive a text or email with a secure pick up code.
5. Stop by when it’s convenient and grab your order.

Rob and I are excited about this new option! No more coordinating pickup times or trying to work around busy schedules. Simply place your order, receive your pickup code, and collect your food when it works best for you.

We expect to have this delivery option up and running within the next week and can't wait to make it available to our Wayne County customers.
So if you've been waiting for a more convenient way to get our pasture-raised chicken, grass-finished beef, pork, eggs, and tallow products, this is it!

If you have friends or family in Wayne County who would appreciate easier access to local, pasture-raised food, we'd appreciate it if you'd tag them in the comments below and help us spread the word! And let us know what food locker location you’d prefer.

Rob, the one in the farmer tab shirt (if you know, you know 😂) is the brains behind the operation here at Rocky Ridge Farm.
Nearly every system, efficiency, and regenerative practice we use has either been built, designed, researched, or implemented by him. From fencing layouts and water systems to pasture management and livestock handling, he's constantly looking for ways to improve the farm so we can raise quality food without burning ourselves out in the process, all while working a full-time job and raising six kids.

We truly are a family-run farm, and every member of the family plays a role (and that role grows as the kids get older), but I'm incredibly thankful for an amazing husband, father, and business partner steering the ship.

Today's job was moving paddocks for both our cow herd and laying hens. Lately, Rob has been keeping the cows in smaller paddocks and moving them frequently. This allows them to graze the best forage, trample the remaining vegetation back into the soil, distribute natural fertilizer, and then move on to fresh pasture. It takes more work and planning, but the improvements we've seen in pasture health, animal performance, and overall farm productivity have made it well worth the effort.
