Winding down the season over here, but still putting out tomatoes at the stand.

Got a lovely note of appreciation from a customer about our cherry tomato diversity. Thanks for keeping me truckin’ along! And thanks to companies like and .cat.farm for doing the work of saving such a diversity of seeds!

Got some peas at the stand! Also arugula and greens mix in the cooler, and a handful of plants left for anyone needing to fill some space in their garden :)

Going to try my best to update when something new is at the stand…
The first of the veggies are out in the red cooler :)

Radishes and a few herb bundles

Also have peppers, eggplant, cucumber and some flower plants for sale

And perhaps most exciting: FREE tomato plants to anyone who feels called to rescue them

Small amount of fresh eggs

I’ll be putting the perishables out in small quantities for now. Both due to not having tons available after selling at market, and just waiting to see what demand is like. Also, you may like to know that prices are lower at the stand than at market 🥬🥳

Still here and still farmin’!
Find us at the Interlochen market on Sundays again this year. Starting (personally) mid May with plants and a limited amount of veg 🥬. ALSO! Building a small farm stand to better serve our Kingsley locals this year :) Keep an eye out on 113!

We’ve got a loofah! Seeing what happens when we harvest them green and dry them, since we’re not sure they’ll dry on the vine in time. If it works, we’ll have some at market in October!

The beginning

We are anxiously awaiting warmer weather and less snow, so thought we’d introduce ourselves in the meantime.

Nate and I (Kelly) moved to Northern Michigan in 2017 with the goal of starting a small vegetable farm to serve the community. Nate left the Army after seven years of service, and I spent much of that time apprenticing on other farms.

Now here we are, in Kingsley, with ten acres and big dreams! We plan to sell at the Wednesday market in Traverse, as well as the Kingsley and Fife Lake markets. We’d also love to sell to local restaurants. A roadside stand is also in our future...

We can’t wait to get to work, and hope to meet you all soon (if we haven’t already)!
