Bean Bean just celebrated his 8th Birthday. He’s the sweetest old man in the whole wide world but is definitely set in his ways. He sure does love his water straight out of a good ole bucket 🙄. Hims spoiled rotten!

Really big day on the farm!!!

For the last 3.5 years we’ve been getting water to our livestock using hundreds of feet of garden hose connected to our house.. above ground… which means everything freezes in the winter… when that would happen we would have to fill buckets in our bath tub and haul them out to the pasture! NOT ANYMORE!!!

We have 1400 ft of underground water running from its own meter that will soon feed automatic freeze proof waterers!

I’m so happy I could cry!!

Don’t farm like us… make sure your infrastructure and water sources are in place before bringing animals home!! Trust me I’m a professional at making life harder than it needs to be!

I know I’m probably biased because she’s mine, but Dandy is truly something special!

Just over a year old, and her coloring continues to evolve in the most stunning ways.

With a frosted momma and what appears to be frosted influence from her sire, she never stops surprising me. Though I’d love to confirm it through testing, the frosted gene still hasn’t been isolated in Highlands in the U.S.

Cannot wait to watch her continue to grow.
