We love Smoke on the Mountain! It’s our hometown comp where we know family will always be there.
Judges didn’t like our cooks either day, but that’s okay. We’ll see ya next year SOTM. 🐷

We did however get enough donations to God's Storehouse Soup Kitchen for them to feed at least 3 nights, which is over 600 meals going out into our community 🎉🎉 we also sent TWO large pans to the Galax Hope House which is a local men’s shelter in the community! So THANK YOU Teams for showing up and helping out our community!💕 I’ve included a photo of the food sent to God’s Storehouse.

Anyone donating BBQ to Gods Storehouse tomorow can drop donations off at our site if you don’t wanna wait for Boy Scouts to pick up!

Hi all! SW Virginia, Eastern TN, and Western NC all got hit hard with the hurricane as I’m sure you’re aware, and it took out some of the towns. We’re making cleaning buckets/toiletry bags for the area of Damascus VA! If you’re wanting to help out flood victims and aren’t sure how please reach out!

I am 100% willing to help you figure out how you can help. If anyone wants to donate money there’s many places online that have online platforms set up, or I can also make more buckets/bags if you send money to me. I can make each item for around $10 each💕 I hope you all stayed safe during the storms!

We wanted to give a little update on life. Thank you for yalls love and support this BBQ Season, we are so thankful for everyone💕 Yesterday it was determined we’d be ending our season with our cook from Smoke on the Mountain. So we’ll be back hopefully in the Spring! We’ll share some pictures throughout our off season of some delicious meat we cook up (smoked and unsmoked) and look forward for the next season!

Friday night we had almost 3 dozen cookies and Saturday morning there were none left! If you’re at a comp with me I’m pretty sure I’ll have these most times 😆 (at least on Friday) cause Bowmans Butt & BBQ has declared these as his favorite cookie now! They just may not always be GF

Smoke on The Mountain Galax, VA. Has come and gone once again, and I always LOVE it since it’s our true Hometown Competition💕

This year was the first year I didn’t have to help work any portion of it. I was still in charge of setting up the gathering of donations for God's Storehouse Soup Kitchen from all the BBQ Competitors. This year we received enough food that they should be able to serve over 600 meals!!!!🎉

As for our results:
🐓Chicken- 11th Place
🐖Ribs- 3rd Place
🎉Overall- 8th Place

This is such a great competition and is always put on by the best people around.
