Stone Trust TN Furthers Goal to Teach Dry Stone Walling in the South with Weekend Workshops

Last year, the corresponding spring workshops at The Stone Trust TN were canceled due to torrential rain and tornado warnings. No such problems this year and with temperatures creeping into the 70s. The Stone Trust TN at The Land welcomed 16 participants from around the country. We had 14 folks taking the 2-Day Introduction to Dry Stone Walling and a further two embarking on a Cheek Rebuild Workshop. The workshops had a real southern flavor with all but two participants coming from the neighboring states. That’s why it’s great to be part of the Stone Trust family, catering to all parts of the US.

March Workshops in Tennessee

Come out to a 2-Day Intro to Dry Stone Walling or a Cheek Rebuild Workshop at the Stone Trust Tennessee at The Land. Learn about how to build a middle section or the end of a wall, applying the 5 basic principles of dry stone walling. Taking a workshop in the spring will allow you to prepare for projects for the rest of the year. Come on March 14-15 for a weekend of fun and learning a new, but historic skill. The Intro workshop is already over 50% full, so don't miss your chance.
