Meet The Harwood’s 💗
Rachel was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Kingston Springs, at the time she had a very young family Jesse & Wren with husband Brian. Over the years we would cross paths and the occasional visit, but 4 years ago when the deli opened. I texted Rachel and said do you think Jesse would want a part time weekend job working with us?
Jesse has been with us ever since! Such an essential and important precious person to us! She has literally been through it all with us. She just came back for Summer break and it was like a breath of fresh air bc she knows all the things without missing a beat. Wren has worked with us on and off for a couple years now. He has such a full social schedule and interesting hobbies, but whenever he jumps in with us he is just a natural fit. These young kids that once were just my nice friends neighborhood kids are literally going to reach the moon one day. I’m so proud of who they have become and to know them when…. 🌙 ⭐️ 🚀
Now to brag on Rachel… do you see that wall of mosaic behind them? That is almost 4 years worth of broken tea cups, saucers, plates, spoons etc things kept breaking as things do in a restaurant setting and we said “ok, well we can definitely fix that tea pot” or “oh noooo that was my fav tea cup”. Well, before we knew it we had a full storage tub of broken bits. I remember how crafty Rachel was from her social media posts, and I asked her… do you think we could make mosaic wallpaper out of all the broken bits?
The rest as they say is history. We are so grateful to this local family and the impact they have made on our little deli. To complete the family circle Brian works next door freelancing his business out of Datco. He has many a time popped round delivering pieces for us, always willing to lend a hand and a big fan of my Ploughmans cheese sandwich.
We Love You Guys Very Much. Thank You 🙏
