Okay parents & caregivers this one is a MUST try 👏✨

This was hands down one of our favorite (and super affordable!) activities. Perfect for rainy days, snow days, or anytime you’re stuck inside.

All you do is blend up Cheerios to create “sand” we used regular + berry Cheerios to make a fun mix. The berry ones gave it that cute pink color 💕

My daughter was about 13 months when we tried this and she stayed busy for 45 minutes 🤯

We started simple:
🚗 Added a few little cars & toys for digging
🥄 Then introduced spoons & a strainer when she started losing interest (which totally brought her back in!)
You can do so many different things to make it more age appropriate for your kids!

This is such a great stem activity. Here’s why. 👇
Sensory play helps develop touch, texture awareness & brain connections
Fine motor skills, scooping, pouring, pinching = hand strength & coordination
Cause & effect, dumping, sifting, filling teaches how actions change things
Early problem solving , figuring out how to scoop, pour, and “find” toys
Creativity & independent play, they explore at their own pace

Also amazing for little ones who aren’t ready for real sand yet.

Real life note:
This mama thought a small mat would contain it… it did NOT 😂
But cleanup took less than 5 minutes with the vacuum, so totally worth it.

You can also do this in:
🪣 A bin
🌊 Water table
🍽️ Sensory tray/table

10/10 recommend easy, cheap, and keeps them entertained way longer than expected 🙌

This is what is on the menu tonight! Chicken sliders made in the crock pot! Super easy!!

We are doing bbq chicken BUT this same recipe can be used for buffalo chicken or any flavoring you want your sliders to be.

Yum! Hope you try it soon!

This is breast milk under a microscope. There is something in BREASTMILK that kills cancer cells.
It’s called HAMLET, a compound found naturally in human milk.

In lab tests, it’s destroyed over 40 types of cancer cells… without touching the healthy ones.
We don’t fully understand how it works yet. But here’s what we do know:

When you breastfeed, your body isn’t just feeding your baby.
It’s creating something so powerful, scientists are still trying to understand it.
Something protective. Intelligent. Alive.
Something only you can give.

Breastfeeding is more than milk.
It’s medicine.
It’s antibodies
It’s magic.
It’s you!

Every drop of breast milk is helpful!

This one’s for all my ladies 👀✨

Ready for a CRAZY fun fact?!

Women today experience about 350–450 periods in their lifetime 😳

But historically… women only had around 100–150 periods in their lifetime.

So what changed?!

There was a major shift starting in the 60s and continuing through the 70s, 80s, and 90s…

Here’s why:
• Women are having fewer pregnancies
• Breastfeeding rates dropped for a period of time
• Formula feeding increased
• Periods are starting earlier than they used to

In the past, women spent more time:
pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding (which naturally delays cycles)

Today women spend more time cycling
That means our bodies are going through WAY more hormonal cycles than women in history ever did

Let’s talk witching hour!

For new mamas witching hour can come out of nowhere & it’s like uhm hello what is this?

If your newborn turns into a tiny, fussy, hard-to-settle human every evening… you are not alone.

This is called the witching hour and it can start as early as 2 weeks old 👶

🍼 What it looks like:
• Crying more in the evening (usually sometime in the 5–10pm range)
• Wants to nurse constantly (hello cluster feeding)
• Falls asleep… then wakes right back up
• Only happy when being held or rocked

🤯 Why it happens:
• Baby is overstimulated from the day
• Their nervous system is still developing
• They’re boosting your milk supply
• They just want extra comfort & closeness

💡 What can help:
• Skin-to-skin
• Babywearing 🤍
• Feeding on demand
• White noise + dim lights
• the sound of running water
• Stepping outside for fresh air
• Warm bath
• Gentle bouncing or walking

💛 Mama reminder:
This is TEMPORARY
This does NOT mean your milk supply is low
You are NOT doing anything wrong

Some nights nothing “works”… and that’s okay too. Just being there is enough 🤍

👇 Tell me in the comments:
-What time does your baby’s witching hour hit?!
-what does witching hour look like for your family?
-are you out of witching hour but want to go down memory lane? Feel free to comment as well!

Anyone else 🥹🥹😭😭

last year i had a baby
this year i have a toddler

last year was slow mornings
cuddles that lasted forever
tiny hands learning how to crawl
needing me for everything

this year
it’s running footsteps down the hallway
little words filling up the silence
tiny opinions
big personality

last year she stayed close
this year she’s exploring everything

and somehow
i miss it
while loving this

because i didn’t just watch her grow

i felt it
in every stage she outgrew
and every version of her
i had to learn to let go of
