Unfortunately we have 6 orphans today, their Mother Willow passed away last night after dinner. The slaughtering did not reveal any choking, he said part of her heart was soft, maybe a heart attack. RIP Willow.

Could have done without this surprise after the long Christmas day.

Slaughter was done by Jon Hines. He was great with my 7 year old watching and asking questions.

Well that was a long day. Was a little fun getting him into the trailer, finally got him backed in. We stopped and gave home a few bottled water showers on a hot day.

He's a big boy. We will get him introduced to Rosemary, Willow and Daisey in the next couple days. And hopefully in around 4 months there will be more bacon seeds.
