Few foods are as deeply woven into New York’s story as the bagel. Its journey is intertwined with immigration, organized labor and the evolution of New York City’s food culture.

Join us Sunday 7/19 for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to make authentic Old World New York bagels from scratch—mixing, shaping, boiling and baking them the old-fashioned way. Learn what gives a great bagel its signature crust, chew and flavor + make an incredible cream cheese schmear.

Part baking class and part food history. You’ll leave with a half dozen of your own hand-made bagels (if you don’t eat them first), the recipe and the confidence to make them again in your own kitchen.

Starting Monday, January 12, demolition related to the removal of the Pike Plan will begin in Uptown Kingston along North Front Street. This phase of the project is expected to last approximately two weeks or more. Once work on North Front is complete, crews will move on to Wall Street.

During this time, street parking on our block will be unavailable. Visitors are encouraged to use nearby municipal parking lots, which will offer free parking for the duration of the project. All sidewalks will remain open, and public access to all storefronts will be maintained throughout.

We will be open during regular business hours, and thank you for your patience and continued support as this long-looming project gets underway.
