It’s that time of year again. And hats off to our athlete’s at KHS! After a full football practice the came out to our place to cover the silage pile. This is a job that takes many bodies. They are so greatly appreciated!

A huge shout out to KHS Varsity football team, Coach Flikkie and Meagan. Our Kingston football coaches, Jones and Flikkie have done an outstanding job teaching their players how to give back to the community. They do a number of service projects in our town. We are fortune to have them here to help us with this enormous job. Thank you KHS! We appreciate you!

KHS football team and Coach Flikkie came out three different times to cover our corn and silage piles. After two hours of practice they spent another two hours throwing tires. We are forever grateful!!

We would like to wish you all the luck in the world for tonight’s game!! Play hard and conquer a win!!!

A huge shout out to our KES Cross country team!!! Wishing you the best of luck as you travel to state competition!! They have also helped cover our pile last year!! Great kids at Kingston!!!!

A couple days late posting this however the gratitude for these guys is stronger than ever. This is a task RBF can not get done on their own. We are once again grateful for our KHS football team. After a night of practice they spent another two hours throwing tires on a silage pile.

Fall harvest is underway at Ruggles Beef Farms. Silage pile done and needed to be covered. Not an easy job. Takes a lot of strong bodies to complete this task. We would like to put a huge Thank-you out to Coach Flikkie, Meeghan, and our KHS Football team. A great group of workers. Thank you so much!!

Ruggles Beef Farms Ruggles Beef received Commercial Cattleman of the Year Award.

I am so proud of Tim. I have been married to him for 33 years. Our life has evolved around the farm. Hours and hours of hard work. The love that Tim has for the beef industry is undescrible. He doesn’t consider working with cattle a job. To run a successful business you have to give your heart and soul to it and that is what Tim has done. He took his 25 cows, bottle fed baby calves, long hours and started feeding cattle. I have watched him take 25 cows to a feedlot with a capacity of 1800 head.

Fred and Nancy also worked hard, long hours buying and farming the land. They built a solid foundation for Tim to take it to the next level.

Now that we have adult children, we are excited to see where the next generation will take Ruggles Beef Farms. Chelsea, Tyler, Kyle & Mallory are stepping up to the plate ready to meet the challenge.

Last night our Farm was recognized as Commercial Cattlemen of the Year from the Michigan Cattlemen’s Association. You are an inspiration Tim. I am so proud of you.
