Progress can be agonizingly slow at times, but it’s happening. This weekend we planted our first Christmas trees. 200 Fraser Fir seedlings went into the ground. We repurposed a historically difficult, man made, upland bog. Some more grading should give us room to plant 800 more.

The top layer of roots, vine and sand are stripped off. A new layer of sand will be put down and new vine planted.

We harvested 32 pounds of honey from only 10 frames! It looks darker in the bucket but it's golden yellow.
