Hey Friends, we wanted to share that we still have a few Fresh Organic pasture raised turkeys left for Thanksgiving but they are going fast! Will most likely be medium sized(13-18 lbs).

Exciting News!! We have a processing date tomorrow and a few openings for pork! Taking orders now for whole and half pigs. There is nothing like have farm fresh, pasture raised pork in your freezer cut and packaged to your preference! Hope everyone is staying warm this weekend. We have plenty of eggs, pastured chicken, nitrate free bacon, sausage and all the other goodness in stock. Due to the cold we will not be hanging out in the store but drop us a note and we will meet you out there, or just pull into the parking area and beep so we can meet you there. Just a little chilly here this morning. Everyone is snug in the barn but at -14 (-38 windchill) there are definitely some frosty whiskers. Please email or call if you need anything from the store today. We are stocked with pasture raised chicken, pork, sausage and some eggs. We won’t be manning the store in this cold but happy to coordinate pickup.

You may have noticed two new residents in our front pen if you drive by the farm. Fun fact, these two ladies are not Hereford beef cows, they are actually Gurnsey dairy cows. Gurnsey cows originate from the Island of Gurnsey in the English Channel off Normandy. They are known for a rich golden milk, higher in beta carotene, fat and protein. They also produce A2 milk which is easier to digest. This heritage breed is also known for their docile behavior. While not in milk yet, we are excited to offer grass fed milk, yogurt, butter and more in the spring. We look forward to answering your questions and would love to introduce you to them. Stop by any Saturday from 9-12:30 and don’t forget to put in your turkey reservation. Birds are going fast!
