Dear Friends, Many of you have noticed that some of the cheeses in our online store have been out of stock for a while. While we never like to be out of stock of anything, this is a sign of something very good happening here at Treeline. Allow me to elaborate....

If you've already tried our new Non-Dairy Cashew Mozzarella, you've experienced its great taste and meltability (from healthy ingredients with low saturated fat). You might even have wondered why it's not widely available in stores.

That's about to change!

Our Vegan Mozzarella is now available in almost every Whole Foods Market in the US. You'll will also find it in many independent natural stores. So this really is great news for Treeline and for vegan cheese lovers all across the US.

We've also been devoting a lot of time and energy to our new Vegan Cottage Cheese. A few months ago, we offered it online to gauge customer demand. To our surprise and joy, it's selling faster than any other product on our website. We plan to launch it through other retailers later this year.

There's more - We are releasing a brand new cheese this month - French-Style Caramelized Onion! This will initially be available in our online shop and in select Whole Foods Markets in Florida, DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey (South), Virginia, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, & Arkansas, and independent natural food stores.

All this good news comes at a price. It has taken a lot of human effort, financial resources, and factory space to make it all happen. As a company that prides itself on independence from large dairy companies (yes, quite a few vegan cheese brands are owned by dairy or even meat companies) or venture capital shops, we have limited resources. This means we have had to make some tough choices. So I regret to say there is a downside to these very positive developments.

In order to meet the huge demand for Mozzarella and Cottage Cheese, we have had to take a hard look at some of our smaller lines. None of this will make anyone happy, but we have decided to discontinue our Blueberry Goat-Style Vegan Cheese and our Everything Cashew Cream Cheese which sell in very small quantities. We are pausing production of our Aged Artisanal cheese wheels until we can find a way of making them in parallel with our mozzarella and cottage cheese.

We thank you for your patience and continued support. We will miss our Aged Cheeses a lot and hope to bring them back soon!

When we brought out our new Non-Dairy Cashew Ricotta, it didn't take long for us to realize that 7.5 oz just wasn't enough for a decent sized lasagna or a good batch of cannoli. Thanks to all of you who very nicely pointed that out!

Changes to packaging take time. We had to design new cups and buy new equipment for this one. But all the hard work was worth it if that means you can feed your hungry family and friends with what has to be the best vegan ricotta on the planet.
