🍻 Meet the Keegan Ales Family! 🍻
We’re back with another round of our “Meet the Keegan Ales Family” series, where we introduce the people behind the pints, the food, the events, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps Keegan Ales running. Every member of the crew brings their own personality, stories, and talents to the brewery - and this week, we’re featuring one of the people helping brew the beer you know and love.

When did you begin working at Keegan Ales?
I started working here September 12th, 2023 - another day I’ll never forget.
What do you do at Keegan Ales?
Besides brewing beer as second in command, I am, as Lisa calls it, the “facilities manager” - fixer of things, your emergency barback, dancefloor tester, occasional bouncer, and probably most importantly… quality control.
What’s your current favorite beer?
The ones that are in me. No, but probably Hurricane Kitty, though Mother’s Milk was a weekend staple in my twenties. It really changes weekly though. Love a Bine Climber. We’re known for our beer combinations too - Milk for the Kitty, Bloody Fun, and recently the Jet Ski (Fun on the Hudson + Hudson Lager). Again… quality control.
What’s your current favorite food menu item?
I’ve recently been getting the Grilled Chicken Greek Salad in wrap form. Bacon croutons. Killer.
What is your best memory at Keegan Ales?
Nice try. I can’t answer that.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
You know, someone asked me that recently and it kinda stumped me. I’m usually pretty busy plugging the holes on life’s boat. But I enjoy snowboarding, messing around on the guitar, grocery shopping, and a good drive around the reservoir. Cooking is a necessity, but we have a good time with it. Looking forward to getting into Yamadori (bonsai) and archery in the future. And a beer with good friends never fails.
