Happy 6 weeks to these sweet babies!

I can’t believe how fast time is flying! They are growing, playing and their little personalities are shining. This week we had our vet visit for checkups and vaccines and they did so good!

They’ve been working on kennel training, building confidence and soaking up all the snuggles. We also started outdoor potty training and it’s quickly becoming a favorite for both them and me!

They are doing so good and I’m so proud of them!

Happy 5 weeks to Rachel’s cuties!

Their little personalities are really starting to shine, and this week has been full of fun milestones! We officially started indoor potty training and are already having some success (smart babies!).

They’re playing more every day and learning how to wrestle, pounce, and chase toys, while also getting braver about exploring new textures and surroundings. They’re responding more to sounds and voices and getting much steadier on their feet as they grow more confident exploring.

It’s amazing how quickly they’re changing!

This group also totally killed it with their individual pictures today. Usually, it takes several attempts to get the perfect shot of each puppy but today the majority of them had their photos done in fewer than five takes. They were attentive, cooperative and adorable in front of the camera!

Happy 5 weeks to Maya’s cuties!

Last year… and honestly every year with chickens 😂 can be rough when the predators figure things out. This year I’m trying to outsmart the predators instead of just reacting after losses happen.
Between the chicken tractors, rotating setups, incubator and paying closer attention during predator season, I’m hoping we finally stay one step ahead. Will it work? Ask me again at the end of the season.

CKB has spent his whole life watching me raise puppies. In the past, he’d occasionally jump in to “help” socialize them with his loud voice and nonstop energy around the house. But these 2026 litters have been different… he wants to be involved in every single step.

He’s actually been a huge help, but this video of him mimicking what he’s apparently watched me do for years absolutely cracked me up. Wait until the end for each puppy. There is SO much personality packed into this kid.
