It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of Ronnie James Surratt Jr., a cherished family member of the Gunpowder Tree Farm and a devoted father to his son, Elijah. Ronnie passed away on April 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, courage, and kindness. Please pray for the Surratt family during this unimaginable time.

Stop by Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company Saturday, May 23rd for a fun community event! Kids activities, tours, and demonstrations!

Save the Date:
May 23rd, 2026 12pm-4pm.

We will be hosting an open house at Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, an opportunity for you to interact with our Kingsville Volunteers. Just as important, our volunteers are excited to meet you and say Hi!

We will have demonstrations and can watch our volunteers spring into action as they would on real incidents with our rescue tools and equipment.

We will be giving tours of the firehouse, equipment and plenty of fun activities!

We are all about creating events, that bring everyone together including our awesome community. Spread the word! We will see you there!

We had a great season partnering with our local Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company! We’re happy to be able to support them thanks to our amazing customers who support us year after year! We look forward to continuing to support the KVFD and community in the future

Thank you all for an absolutely wonderful Christmas season at Gunpowder Tree Farm! Your support means the world to us.

🚨We still have some beautiful trees left on the lot! The barn is now closed for the season, but the lot is open self-serve during daylight hours.

🚨 Instead of these trees just sitting on the lot, we’d love to see them bring joy to your home—or to someone who could use a little extra holiday cheer.

🚨All remaining trees are FREE. There’s a donation box on site if you’d like to contribute—100% of any donations will go to Shriners Hospitals for Children to help children and their families in need.

Please share this post far and wide, and if you know anyone who could use a Christmas tree, send them our way. Let’s spread some holiday kindness together! 🎄

Self-service precut trees available on the lot for the remainder of the week - during daylight hours only. We do have security cameras so please use the honor system with the cash box. Hoping for $30 - $50 per tree, but if you need a tree leave what you can afford. Thank you!
