We have made the tough decision to cancel our local stand for this season. Due to circumstances outside of our control, we are choosing to stay closed this year and set sights on the next. While we are saddened that this is the case, we appreciate everyone who comments, likes, and shares.

In the mean time support other great, local farms such as TC Smith Produce Farm, Inc.

Quick pumpkin update/photo dump before we overrun the page with melon content! Photos are taken Monday/Wednesday/Friday (mostly) in order to track crop progress. It is amazing how quickly these things can grow!

We made our fair share of mistakes last season, as it was our first year growing pumpkins. In production we battle a variety of pest and diseases. Pumpkins also are not well adapted to our high heat during their flowering period. These issues combined with the multiple other challenges involved in growing a crop make producing a quality pumpkin in eastern NC very difficult! (Trust us, we have found out the hard way)

We made a huge amount of changes for this years crop. We have researched and implemented various management tactics in order to give us the best chance of putting a quality product in your hands! These plants have been nothing short of pampered! They are looking great and flowers should begin opening this week. Our pollinators (honeybees) arrived this weekend and are ready to get to work!

Our/my goal is to always produce a top notch product that I am not afraid to stand behind. I greatly appreciate everyone who will or has purchased from us, without you all what we do is worthless. Thank you from myself and everyone here!

* Season UPDATE*

We have been getting many questions about our opening date for the season! Due to weather and an admitted hiccup by yours truly, we are running slightly behind. Currently we are expecting to be open in 1-2 weeks! We look forward to seeing everyone again and putting our best products into your hands!

***we are currently searching for seasonal help to aid in running our Kinston stand, if you know of anyone available feel free to reach out to us! We appreciate any age but enjoy giving the younger population some job experience.***
