We are highly aware of how unusual it is, in our time, to find a beverage that is uncomplicated, unadulterated, close to its source, and coming from the heart. This idea of simplicity is one of Great Barn Brewery’s basic principles. It’s about going back to the land and honoring the ingredients that naturally grow in abundance. It encompasses a fiercely independent spirit that

is the complete opposite of mass produced products. Our philosophy requires that everything is handcrafted with extreme care and attention from basic raw ingredients. When it comes to making beer you need two things: you need the best ingredients in the world and great execution. Our water source comes from private water well safe from industrial exploitations and other pollutants. The vast majority of beer is water – it accounts for up to 90 percent of beer’s content. We grow and source local ingredients which allows us to make the best farm crafted beer in the world. We support other local farmers by purchasing specialty ingredients such as hops, spices, fruits, honey, and others close to home. We promote the bond between nature, farming, and brewing by creating a distinctive beer that is truly a product of the soil. Growing the grains for the brewery on our own farm allows us to make the land profitable, preserve the open spaces, and maintain its picturesque landscape.
