The last three days have been some of the most intense, exhausting, exciting, and rewarding days of our lives. Watching our team come together, support one another, and pour their hearts into every smoothie, bowl, sandwich, and conversation has been incredible.

But what stands out the most isn’t the food—it’s the smiles.

The food is what brings people in, but the smiles are what we’ll remember most.

I don’t know what was in the air today, but it felt like magic.

We are so excited to officially welcome you to Tortugas on June 5th.

From the very beginning, this was meant to be more than just a café. We wanted to create a place where everyone feels welcome. A place where people can slow down, connect, laugh, recharge, and feel at home the moment they walk through the doors.

Whether you stop in for breakfast, an açaí bowl, a smoothie, or simply a place to relax and feel welcomed…there’s a place for you here.

We can’t wait to meet you, chat with you, and finally share this dream with the community that helped bring it to life.

Love is the ingredient you can’t put on a menu, but somehow it’s in everything we serve. 👩🏻‍🍳💚🐢

There are moments in life that remind you what really matters.

Over the past two dry runs, we've been surrounded by so much love, support, kindness, and encouragement that it's honestly hard to put into words.

We poured our hearts into this place. Every handcrafted açaí bowl. Every smoothie. Every heart-shaped strawberry. Every detail was created with one simple goal: to make people feel something when they walk through the doors.

And somehow, all of that love has found its way back to us. 💚💚💚🐢🐢🐢

We've watched children smile, families connect, neighbors become friends, and complete strangers walk in and leave feeling like part of the Tortugas family.

That's the magic.

Tomorrow isn’t just a dry run.

It’s a reminder of what can happen when people come together for something bigger than themselves.

When we dreamed up Tortuga’s, it was never just about a café. It was about creating a place where kindness, community, and connection live alongside great food and good conversation.

Tomorrow, a portion of our proceeds will benefit the Sea Turtle Recovery Center in West Orange, New Jersey—an incredible organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting sea turtles in need.

After spending time with the amazing people behind this mission, we left inspired. Their compassion, dedication, and love for these animals reminded us of something important:

Life isn’t measured by what we take from the world. It’s measured by what we give back.

If we can make a difference for one person, one family, one child, or even one turtle, then we’ve done exactly what we were put here to do.

These are the moments you can’t put a price on.

Tuesday’s Test Kitchen at Tortuga’s 🌴🍓🍰

Today we made our cheesecake with homemade berry compote and honestly… the dream is starting to taste real. ✨

Every day we’re testing recipes, creating new ideas, and putting our hearts into every little detail as we get closer to opening.
