Unplanned evening quest for Tyler and Luke returning from a long weekend of CPRA rodeo trying to find our Corriente bull that decided to visit the neighbors 250 heifers in a 1000+ acre pasture! It took us a while to find him but once we did Luke got him roped and loaded before dark! Never a dull moment at RRWC!

Come join and learn how to control your horse and your livestock.

IIntroduction to Cow & Ranch Work

Join us Monday evenings for hands-on cow work designed to build confidence for both horse and rider. Led by Luke, whose lifelong experience with horses and cattle includes training and showing rope horses, working with respected reining, cow horse, and team roping professionals, and competing in AQHA events, these sessions introduce the fundamentals of cattle handling in both the arena and on a working ranch.

Participants will learn:

Gathering and moving cattle
Penning and sorting
Opening and closing gates
Tracking cattle and developing control from horseback

Perfect for riders looking to improve horsemanship while safely introducing their horses to cattle work.
