The Kirbyville Auction Barn est. 1954
James Melville "Dick" Muckleroy and his wife, Maurine, two children Bette and Robert, purchased the property and established The Kirbyville Livestock Auction Barn in Kirbyville Texas in 1954. Dick managed the auction barn until 1962 where then Dick's son, Robert "Bull" Muckleroy managed the barn from 1962 to the manager title pas

sed on to his son, Robert Jeffery "Jeff" Muckleroy a few years ago... Still owned and operated today by the same family. Three generations of Muckleroy men were at one time, the cowboys at the auction barn.... 67 years serving you and your livestock sales.

I go wonderin' once again
Back to the seasons of my youth
I recall a box of rags that someone gave us
And how my momma put the rags to use
There were rags of many colors
But every piece was small
And I didn't have a coat
And it was way down in the fall
Momma sewed the rags together
Sewin' every piece with love
She made my coat of many colors
That I was so proud of

As she sewed, she told a story
From the Bible she had read
About a coat of many colors
Joseph wore and then she said
Perhaps this coat will bring you

And momma blessed it with a kiss
