Good thing we grow the pumpkins and mums I decorate with… at least that’s what I tell Jay when he starts asking questions! At this rate, he’s going to have to start growing Christmas trees because I don’t have a good excuse around the holidays! 😂

The calm after the storm…

Last night we took the pups for a drive to check on the pumpkins after all the rain and storms. We had 3 inches of rain and some crazy wind. The pumpkins and mums look to be okay as long as they don’t scald in the sun. I lost some flowers and the wind laid some over, but they should stand back up!

As I walked around the pumpkins and flowers, I couldn’t help but feel the calmness in the air. I was surrounded by quietness and the sunset was beautiful. The light over the pumpkins created such a peace.

I was a reminded that after every storm, no matter how loud and scary, comes calmness and peace. That everything’s going to be okay even when it doesn’t seem like it.

I had to share some photos from last night in hopes to remind you that you can find peace in knowing that God has a plan for your life even in the middle of the ugliest and scariest storms!

I don’t know which is harder… working outside in this heat or updating our website with all our Fall Decor Packages!

The Murray Farmers Market is so special to us! Jay started attending the farmers market over 20 years ago when he started growing pumpkins as a kid. And, today starts my fifth year selling at the market. There’s so many things I love about the market — but my favorite is visiting with the vendors and our customers!

I will be set up today until 12 with mixed bouquets and sunflower bunches straight from our farm! 💐🌻
