While the Pumpkin Patch may be closed for the season, Jay and I have been working behind the scenes and have so many ✨ new ✨ things that we plan on sharing with you this winter! (This is where I tell you to turn your notifications for our page 🤪)

My whole life I have loved flowers, but a little secret of mine.. I’ve never been good at keeping plants alive, that is until I met Jay. I could keep horses and kiddos alive and thriving, but plants… no way, not a chance.

While I am still working on my skill in growing cut flowers (I have been pouring a lot of time and energy into learning!), I wanted to create something beautiful to offer for Thanksgiving! This is a little glimpse of more to come, but I hope you enjoy these Fresh Thanksgiving Arrangements I created with pumpkins from our field.

We are thankful for a wonderful season. We want to thank all of our customers, family, and friends for your support this season. We have taken down our signs, BUT still have pumpkins and winter squash (acorn, butternut, spaghetti, delicata) in the barn to prevent them from freezing. If you need any of these, let us know. Today Jay and I are celebrating our 5 year Anniversary! I met Jay during my last semester of college and decided to make Murray my home after graduating! Once we started dating, I loved the idea of helping Jay with his pumpkin patch but had no idea what I was getting myself into.

Our first year dating I jumped all in and haven’t looked back. Somehow, I’ve learned all things pumpkins and have convinced him to let me grow mums, cut flowers, and start a decorating business all in these few short years!

There are so many lessons the pumpkin patch has taught us in our relationship — but, one that is special to me is that Jay and I truly make the best team. Jay is my biggest cheerleader and has supported me in every crazy adventure and idea!

Baby, it’s cold outside, and I’m not ready to part with my pumpkins just yet! Frost is in the forecast, and if you’re hanging onto your fall décor a little longer too, a simple sheet or blanket will help them make it through the cold nights ahead. So, don’t forget to tuck in your mums and pumpkins tonight! 🤎❄️

Tips:
• No extra sheets or blankets? Just pull your décor back under the porch for the night.
• You can uncover everything during the day—just remember to tuck them back in before sunset.
• Mums and pumpkins that sit under a roof are usually safe from frost; you may just want to scoot them back a little for good measure.
