Jacob’s 2026 NEMO Fair Poultry Show results

First in class Black LF Cochin C**k
First in class Buff LF Cochin Hen
Second in class White LF Cochin Pullet
Reserve Best in Show NEMO & Adair Buff Cochin Hen
Reserve Champion Standard Chicken NEMO & Adair Buff Cochin Hen
Reserve Intermediate Showman NEMO & Adair (no awards were given but the judge didn’t know there weren’t any reserve showmen awards)

He showed a buff, black and barred hen, a white pullet and a black c**k. Most of the birds are molting so he picked the best of what still had feathers. 🙃 That barred hen is 5 years old. She’d rather be at home running in the yard.

He’s far from perfect, but he’s so friendly. He jumped down into my lap when he’d had enough of the camera.
