Duck Eggs vs. Chicken Eggs 🍳
Duck eggs are larger in size than chicken eggs. The whites in chicken eggs have a higher water content (more runny) than the whites in duck eggs. Duck eggs have larger yolks and a higher yolk-to-white ratio than chicken eggs.

We have both. Yes, they are different from each other, so I am gonna break it down quick:

πŸ¦† Duck eggs are GREAT for baking.
πŸ“ Chicken eggs have thinner shells.
πŸ¦† Duck eggs are larger and richer than πŸ“ chicken eggs.
πŸ“ Chickens are prolific layers year-round if taken care of correctly, but πŸ¦† ducks are as well with much less light necessity.
πŸ¦† Duck eggs stay fresh longer because of their insanely thick shell.
πŸ¦† Duck eggs contain 30% more protein and a different type of protein than πŸ“ chicken eggs, so if allergic to chicken eggs, most can eat duck eggs and vice versa.
Ounce for ounce, πŸ¦† duck eggs contain more Omega-3, Vitamins A and D, fatty acids, choline, folate, and iron than πŸ“ chicken eggs.
πŸ“ Chickens lay well for about 1-2 years, then dramatically start slowing down production, while πŸ¦† ducks lay solid for 4-5 years before they slow down.
πŸ“ Chicken eggs come in a lot more colors.

People raise guinea fowl for many reasons
1. for meat and egg production; The meat is lean
and rich in essential amino acids
2. effective means of pest control. Flocks of
guineas kill and eat mice and small rats. In addition, guinea fowl can be used to control insects. Wild guineas eat mainly insects, and domestic guineas can consume large amounts of insects without affecting garden vegetables or flowers. Guineas have been used to control wood ticks and insects such as grasshoppers, flies, and crickets. Guineas can reduce keepers' risk of Lyme disease by consuming deer ticks, which carry the disease. Guinea fowl also eat slugs, and flocks have been known to attack snakes
3. Act as Watchdog. The birds sound an alarm whenever anything unusual occurs on the farm. While some people find this noise to be a nuisance, others find it to be an effective tool for protecting the farm and make guinea fowl the farmyard "Watchdogs." The loud noise of the guineas has also been shown to discourage rodents from invading the area.
