We have a pair of two year-old Colorado mountain dogs. They are both males, not neutered. They have amazing personalities, they do not bark overly obsessively and are very friendly, however, they work well as guard dogs. They are obviously livestock guardian dogs, and have been exposed and raised around cows, pigs and chickens.
We would never get rid of them except they absolutely have to have a woven wire fence. We have six strand hot wire and they still find weak areas to get out. We currently have them in a pen with solid fencing and they have never tried to dig out so they would be just fine taking care of your animals in a woven wire pasture. We have too big of an area to put up woven wire so we are going to have to get rid of them unfortunately.
They were raised by an established Colorado breeder, they are very healthy. You are more than welcome to come and check them out however, we will reserve the right to refuse sale if we are not comfortable where they are going. Although these are working dogs, they are also our pets. We would like to see them go together however, if you only can take one, we can still make a deal. Asking 200 for the pair.

They are hatching! With not having any luck on buying any chicks this year, we are hatching a few from our own flock! We have Rhode Island red, Leghorn, and Bielefelder hens mixed with Bielefelder and Leghorn roosters.
