Farms are an integral part of a community and we are extremely fortunate to live in an area where this dying art is still being practiced. We want to be able to suggest a cut of meat, how to prepare it and the best ways to enjoy it. Our shop, called MEat, is focused on 100% locally and humanely raised animals. No hormones, no antibiotics, all naturally raised animals without cages, free to roam. A

ll of our products are raised by local farmers throughout Maine and New Hampshire who take pride in their work and who care about the well being of their animals.

There are so many new items in the shop this weekend! Not pictured is our MEatball mix (equal parts veal, pork and beef) and our Pork Rillette has returned! 🙌

We also have a few pounds of BSR left! 🤤

Cissy is the former owner of Best Automotive here in town. After a handshake deal 9 years ago, we finally purchased her property in August of last year. Cissy moved down to Louisiana and hasn’t been back since so she hadn’t seen the progress of our build out.

We were tickled that she surprised us with a visit and didn’t even do a drive by to see it without Shannon with her! Welcome home (albeit for a visit), Cissy! We adore you and thank you so much for allowing us to realize our dream and for your trusting in us to be the stewards of this amazing property! 🫶🏼
