We are so excited to be one of the sponsors for this year's Canyonfest in Kittredge (Saturday, Sept. 5, 10 am to 5 pm)!!

Please look for one of the Western Legacy Ambassadors (pictured below; consent was given by them) who will be handing out cards for 10% off your purchase in our shop.

Canyonfest will have duck races, sack races (using our cacao bean sacks!), arts and crafts, a fire engine, silent auction, music, etc.

Most flavors are in stock, the only exception is the Buffalo Trace Bourbon bar and a new batch will be on the shelf starting Thursday. The Dark with Peppermint is back in stock and there is a limited selection of the Peruvian Dark in stock.

We recently worked with Warren Tech to freeze-dry some Palisade Peaches. We are working on a peach chocolate bar. We look forward to another bar that incorporates Juniper Berries. We hope to make a selection of bars that reflect Colorado ingredients. Let us know if you have other ideas for Colorado ingredients!!

Our first employee - Eve - has started college. We have an open position that might be perfect for a parent looking for a part time job with a flexible schedule. Experience working with food in a big plus. Reach out to us at [email protected] if you are interested.

We learned last week that we were awarded silver at the 2026 International Chocolate Awards for our 72% Dark Bolivian Tranquilidad!! It's our third year in a row to win an award in this competition! We have bars in stock in both the 72% and the 88%Tranquilidad.

All flavors are in stock with the exception of the coffee bar. A batch is in progress and that will be ready later in the week.

We recently received some samples of dried cacao pulp. Cacao pulp is the juicy part of the cacao pod that surrounds the seeds that we call "cacao beans". It has a sweet, slightly tangy flavor, often compared to tropical fruits like lychee, mango, or pineapple. If you haven't tasted cacao pulp, come in and give it a try.

Peach season is upon us, and there is nothing better than fresh peaches and chocolate! We are working with Warren Tech in Denver to prepare some fresh organic Palisade Peaches that we can marry with our chocolate. Stay tuned for updates.

Thank you so much for voting for us as Best Candy of Evergreen in the Colorado Community Media’s BEST OF THE BEST contest! We really appreciate your support. We extend our congratulations to all the winners of this year’s BEST OF THE BEST. Check out the winners at the link below on pages 28-37.

Buffalo Trace Dark Bourbon bar is back in stock. All bars in stock (some 3 dozen) except for the White Caramel with no nuts. Other bars, such as the Ecuadorian with Sea Salt and the Dark with Peppermint are in short supply but we are working on a new batch.

Ever wonder what the Cacao pulp tastes like? In Southern Mexico they make a drink from the fruit. Since it's sweet some makers are using it to sweeten their chocolate bars. We have some samples if you would like to taste it.

Lots of folks took advantage of our 10% off for Colorado Day. My wife Yuri and I are celebrating our meeting 15 years ago this Sunday, August 9. Wish us Happy Anniversary on SATURDAY for 10% off! Keep your eye on these posts for more opportunities for discounts.
