Petunia Baskets! 🌸

We tried something NEW this year! We grew thousands of Petunias from seed, and turned them into some beautiful hanging baskets! This was not an easy project! And we learned a ton of new things through this process!

Things we learned-

1. Growing from seed is a slow process, but it is so worth it to be able to watch the tiny little dust like seeds turn into something that sparks joy!
2. We learned that most nurseries buy petunia plugs because it is far less work. This is something that we personally will not be doing because we truly see the value in starting our own plants right here on the farm!
3. There was a huge learning curve with petunias. We learned how picky they can be in the beginning of their life, they expect perfect conditions at all times or else they get super droopy. Luckily they perk right up when you solve the issue!

We still have lots of baskets, so if you want to add some LOCALLY GROWN flowers to your home we would be forever grateful for your support! Until then the farm is absolutely popping off with tons of blooms!!
