Remember when I used to post all the time? 🥹

I hardly do anymore. Looking through these photos honestly hit me right in the gut.

I created this from the ground up. Hours of practicing. Hours of learning, researching, experimenting, and teaching myself something new every day.

My idea for these treat boxes took off so quickly, and with every new theme or custom request, I realized just how much I loved creating them. I love design, colors, decorating, and bringing an idea to life — my brain absolutely thrived on projects like these. 🎨✨

The physical side of it, though, has always been labor-intensive. Ive had to learn how to adjust my posture, change the way I worked, and make little accommodations in the kitchen just to keep up.

Back in the day, a dozen themed strawberries could take me an hour. Now? 3–4 business days. 😅😭

Just kidding… but honestly, I’m incredibly proud of what I was able to build with my own two hands.

I just wish I knew then what I know now. Maybe I would have slowed my roll a little more. Maybe I could have prevented some of this. Maybe not. We’ll never know.

But I do know that I poured so much love, creativity, and a whole lot of myself into Sweet Delights — and looking back, I’m really proud of that girl. 🤍

So tell me… which theme is your favorite? 🍫👻🌸🦖🐄⭐️🎉

Stiff person syndrome is a rare neurological, movement disorder that causes progressive muscle stiffness, rigidity, and painful spasms.

⚠️Triggers can cause sudden worsening of symptoms. Common triggers include stress, loud noises, overstimulation, sudden movements, touch, illness, and temperature changes/heat.

⚠️ A “flare-up” isn’t just feeling a little worse. Symptoms can intensify for days, weeks, or longer—causing increased stiffness, spasms, tremors, weakness, pain, fatigue, and difficulty functioning.

⚠️SPS can make everyday tasks unpredictable. Something as simple as showering, brushing your hair, walking through a grocery store, cooking dinner, or hearing a sudden loud noise can trigger symptoms.

⚠️Rest doesn’t necessarily make it go away. During a flare, the body can feel like it’s constantly fighting against itself.

⚠️There is currently no cure. Treatments such as IVIG and medications can help manage symptoms, but they don’t guarantee that the disease will stop progressing.

⚠️SPS doesn’t look the same for everyone. Some people may appear “fine” one moment and be struggling to walk, move, speak, swallow, or function normally the next.

💗 A little Sweet Delights update…

The last year has looked very different for me.

Since my diagnosis, my life has become a cycle of infusions every 3 weeks, appointments, labs, therapy, and trying to manage a disease that unfortunately continues to progress despite treatment.

At the same time, we all know the cost of simply surviving keeps going up. The bills don’t stop just because I got sick, and my husband has been carrying so much of the weight for our family.

I’ve gone back and forth about closing this page completely and never touching a spatula again. But I can’t sit back and watch this illness continue to take pieces of my life—and from my family—without fighting back.

A few amazing people have offered to help me take on a small number of orders here and there, helping me complete them so I can continue bringing in a little income while still working within what my body allows.

So, Sweet Delights isn’t coming back the way it used to. But I’m not ready to let it go either. 🩷

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support me and my family through all of this. It means more than you know. Many of you have been reaching out , sending prayers and I couldn't be more thankful 🥹

I will also be using my platform to spread more awareness about SPS and what it's like living with this hell of a disease .

This season has been hard — as a mama, and as a small business owner navigating a one-in-a-million diagnosis that’s slowly taking away my ability to move and function.

In my mind and in my soul… I don’t feel sick.
I still want to say yes.
I still want to create, to show up, to adventure, to build something beautiful.

6 months into treatment , it's still hard to believe this is my reality .

So I’m learning to move slower — with intention, with grace for myself.

I still bake when my body allows it.
I’ll say yes to an order here and there, just to remind myself… I still can.

This weekend, for the first time since Valentine’s Day, I baked again — for my family and my nurses. And it meant more than I can put into words.

I’m still here.
Still grateful.
Still quietly cheering all of you on, just like you’ve done for me.

Thank you for the check-ins, the prayers, the hugs in passing.
They don’t go unnoticed. They carry me more than you know. 🤍
