Made some truely enormous cookies this last weekend! 3.5 oz cookies that are unlike any chocolate chip cookie I’ve made before. 😳

The recipe called for molasses and corn syrup, which I’ve never tried in a cookie recipe before (I’ve done molasses cookies but never corn syrup), and let me tell you…. These were phenomenal. 🤤🤤🤤

The molasses added a nice depth of flavor and the corn syrup gave them a crunchy yet chewy caramel texture that was to DIE for! 😍😍😋😒

I will definitely be making these again (with some tweaks). 😉

I’ve been trying to perfect my baseline cookie recipes lately and I’ve finally found my baseline sugar cookie recipe that I can easily tweak if needed for future recipes. ❤️

These are chewy, sweet, rolled in sugar to get a nice crunchy, crackling top and the rainbow sprinkles are a favorite of mine. 😋

Saved a few for us, since having a whole batch in our house just ends up with me eating far too many, and will be delivering the rest to our lovely neighbors. 🥰

I don’t ever feel guilty for eating too many cookies anymore, however, my body sure lets me know that eating too many is NOT appreciated 😅

Made some delicious pretty little Valentines cakes yesterday! Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting! 🧁

I loved making these not only because this recipe called for a cup of hot coffee, but because it’s one of the few times I’ve piped anything. ☺️ My piping skills need some serious work but it was fun and a learning experience.

I also baked some cake layers, so keep an eye out for a cake since tomorrow is my birthday! 🥳 🎂

Made a luscious Guinness chocolate cake with light cool whip frosting for his birthday a few days ago! 🎂🥳

The Guinness cake is SO flavorful, dense, and chocolatey that I knew I didn’t want to pair it with a heavy frosting like buttercream or cream cheese. So I mixed some chocolate pudding mix with some cool whip and used that instead! 😋 Its light, airy texture definitely compliments the richness of the cake. 😙👌🏻

It wasn’t very pretty to decorate but I’m still very much learning and I still think it looked nice 😊

Perfect lemon blueberry sour cream coffee cake 🤤🍋🫐

Made two loaves and gave one to the neighbors. My husband immediately dug into the remaining loaf, and him being a huge coffee cake lover, he approved. 👌🏻

This was moist, dense, and the perfect base for any other flavor combos and I can’t wait to try this coffee cake again! 😍😋

This recipe was from and oh my. 😍 The dough was the perfect level of sweetness, so thick and lovely. Definitely will be making this recipe again!

I made ginger snaps, sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, peppermint brownies, and caramel brownies. 😋

I’m sick with Covid (luckily Covid is not transmitted through baked goods), and I cleaned/sanitized, and wore a mask/clean hands while packing and delivering to my neighbors. ☺️ I got multiple texts saying thank you and THAT’S why I love baking for neighbors around the holidays. 🎄❤️

Despite being diagnosed with Covid and feeling like hell, I did manage to make some ginger snaps. These are by far my favorite Christmas cookie 😍

These are made with shortening and molasses which gives it that classic golden color, and allows the cookie to spread in the oven. I pulled them out right before they looked fully cooked, and after cooling they ended up being perfectly soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside 👌🏻👌🏻

This recipe is just a BIT heavy on the chocolate chips, so definitely some tweaking for next time, but they are cakey and gooey and delicious. 🤤 🍪

For thanksgiving this year I made apple pie blondies. Which were honestly the best dessert any of us ate. Seriously. 😋

Crumble top, apple pie with tart Granny Smith apples, and a brown sugar cinnamon blondie base. I poured caramel over the top but this can be served warm with vanilla ice cream or cold. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Honestly, I’m a bit impressed with myself lol. This recipe was not super complex but definitely multiple steps and took hours but it was so worth it. 👌🏻 Even my picky brother approved 😜 And I hate pie crust so the blondie base was 😚👌🏻Chef’s kiss! 💋

Made some churro cookies this weekend and they were so yummy! 😋

Like a snickerdoodle but brown sugar only and no cream of tartar. Subtle differences but they make a huge impact. 🙌🏻 These also have a bit of corn starch too which makes them nice and fluffy. ☁️
