It’s our 11-year-old son! He knows every chicken by name, personality, and egg-laying schedule — and honestly, we’re just here for the feed runs and coop cleaning. 😅

This kid can spot a broody hen from across the yard and give you a full health report before breakfast. We absolutely love his passion and how much he cares for each and every one of his feathered friends. ❤️

So here’s how it went… I ordered two stackable coops. Then my husband goes and builds me a heavy-duty, custom stackable coop. I then thought, “Well, I’ll just sell the ones I bought…” but then winter’s coming, and, you know… extra space never hurts.

So now I’m keeping them all. Because well… chicken math. 🤷‍♀️

Our new Kikiriki hens have officially arrived all the way from Kiris Broky in Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷

If you know, you know — Kiris is one of the best, and the quality speaks for itself (and yes, you definitely pay a pretty penny for it!).

I’ll be taking better photos soon, but for now just know that I’m absolutely in love with them.

I can’t wait to introduce them to their roosters once quarantine is over — it’s going to be such an exciting season ahead! ❤️
