The choice is available to buy USA beef or imported meat, buying born, fed & harvested in the USA is the choice we make when purchasing meat for our shop. Local meat is available in bulk. Know & trust your butcher.
Its not that I hold anything against ranchers in differnt countries, we simply choose to purchase and sell USA raised meat every time we can.

Not because it’s trendy but because it’s a great source of protein and nutrients.

In an economy where every dollar matters, where you spend it matters too. The cost of Beef is up but should it be the only thing held to 1980’s pricing?
Should we import unregulated foods in all categories?

They’re paying more for power and fuel. More for equipment. More for repairs. More for feed, loss of hay and grazing lands to wildfires and drought.
More for the water that is allocated at less than promised.
More for absolutely everything to keep cattle fed, healthy, safe to become food on your table.
More threats due to Wolves with a diet that is plus 70% cattle.
More thefts an increase in value is accompanied by increased cattle theft.
More than your 40 hr work week it’s a 24hr responsibility. Checking cattle in the middle of the night. Feeding when it’s 100° and feeding when it’s below zero.

Next generations are not taking over the operation and those doing this work are wondering how much longer they have the strength, fortitude and can afford to keep going.
Eat USA born, raised and processed beef. Support American ranchers. Keep ranching alive. 🇺🇸🐂
