Blooming is different for every homesteader. Depending on the circumstances will depend on the harvest. Sometimes we work really hard and do all the right things to bear fruit but a storm (life circumstances) comes along and wipes it all away. Sometimes there was a lesson to be learned along the way that we did not listen to and our harvest never came. Sadly some people have to learn the hard way. Its hard to see these homestead failures as lessons to be learned but when we do, we grow. Sometimes with the right lessons learned. Many failures. Plenty of mentorships. Finding our purpose in our planting. The stars a line, the sun shine's, we get a perfect bloom and a beautiful harvest! It is so nice when that happens.

Homesteading is not always beautiful. When you follow homesteads online they tend to show the highlights. Not the hard parts of homesteading. Not the lessons to be learned. So be careful to not fall in to the trap of becoming envious of these homesteads. Every homestead has its struggle whether they show it or not. Ecclesiastes 3:11. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time.
