If you haven't heard of or tried an all flock feed.....you need too!! It's good for chicks as young as 7 weeks and meets all the needs of your hens and roosters. We discovered Nutrena Feed a while back and it was the best switch we could've made. Our girls devour it even though they are pasture raised 🤣. Right now they have the Harvest blend, which is 21% protein and has sunflower seeds (among others) mixed with the pellets. We mix a bag with their regular all flock in our feeder covered with Roosty's Flock Armor. Right now Nutrena has a $10 off coupon so that you can check them out.

We're highlighting our boy King Henry today! He's going to help us with our Blue Laced Red Wyandotte breeding program. He's about 5 months old as of this photo taken end of August but won't be apart of the breeding program until next Spring so he has a chance to fully mature. Although there are no guarantees, breeding a Black Laced Red Wyandotte to a Splash Laced Red Wyandotte gives you in the high 90th percentile of Blue Laced Red Wyandotte offspring. When breeding 2 Blues, you only have a 50% chance of getting Blue offspring. 🥰🐓

Everyone, welcome our newest additions! Meet Elsa and Ida!! With the help of our boy King Henry, who's a Black Laced Red Wyandotte, we'll be able to start offering Blue Laced Red Wyandotte hatching eggs within the next year! We've been slowly building to a breeding program. We've been collecting different breeds and selling eating eggs as we've become familiar with each breed. Our 5 year plan is to be able to offer from eggs (eating and hatching) to young hens/ roosters from a few different breeds of chickens.
