Super Smooth Gaited Mare looking for a new home!

-Late teens
-Nice trail mount
-Stands tied all day long
-Levelheaded
-Picks up all hooves, stands to be shod
-Rides off great in a snaffle
-Can be hard to catch

This mare is SUPER smooth. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, rides off alone, is just all around easy to ride, she has a lot of go and prefers to gait all day rather than walk.

I came home yesterday to find Cole riding Gypsy in only a neckrope in her quarantine field! She was a saint, just didn’t know any neckrope or leg cues. So I grabbed a halter and hopped on her.
WOW not only is she super sweet and gentle, she’s also a saint in a halter(yay! No transitioning her to bitless!!🤞🏼😁) and she is completely loped out! She’s A DREAM to ride!
I’m going to start working on her hooves quite a bit to try to balance them out. I’ve noticed she definitely has the stereotypical tb hooves, I can tell she used to have shoes on. But I don’t mind a little extra work to help get her some good healthy barefoot hooves😊

I found diamond in the rough at the Peabody Killpen last night... Everybody meet “My Sweet Cat” aka Gypsy. She is a thoroughbred mare who has had 14 starts and won 2 firsts during her short racing career, winning just shy of $8000. Her grandsire, Storm Cat, was the leading sire in the 90’s. His stud fee was $100k in 1996!
As soon as we got her home she turned into this super sweet, cuddly girl! I’m heartbroken for the 2 Arabs she arrived to the KIllpen with.. They said they were pasture mates most of their lives. Whoever had this girl and her 2 arabian buddies took amazing care of them, it makes me wonder how they ended up in that place😢 @ Peabody, Kansas

Lily is really starting to grow on us, she comes up to the fence to greet us now and runs up with the others when we get home!
Blondie has been doing the same, which is REALLY big for her.
I’ve been bringing them out of the pasture and tying them in the yard at the trailer to feed them so they learn to stand tied and to get them used to us and wanting to be handled, and I think it’s been working!🤞🏼
