We’ve officially wrapped up our school year at Cross Five. Wow - what a beautiful year of unshakeable bonds built and new friendships , encouragement and support that reminds you that God truly is in all of the details), perseverance, learning for all involved (teachers too) and God’s grace and love. This group of students were full of kindness and sweetness that I needed to be reminded still existed because they have intentional parents pouring into them. Discipleship really does start at home!

One day I’ll share the testimony of this year. Of how Gods timelines are truly different than ours and His will and purpose will be done when we truly lean into him he is our source of strength and guidance and it’s an awesome honor to be chosen to steward and be a vessel for him to work through. To God be ALL of the glory!!! One day he will weave together how to tell the story of a year he carried me through and then used to move me to true rest , but for now, happy happy, sweet summer time ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Making these last two weeks count! Student led devotionals and a trip to Killion Pottery to learn how art and individual gifts make the world a more beautiful place 💗 we all enjoyed getting to make our own pinch pots and a picnic lunch with a friendly pup 🐕🐾

Have you heard the buzz?? We had Miss Ella from Ella’s Beeswax Creations (check her out on Instagram) out for a talk all about bees and her bee business 🐝 what a wonderful young woman who is an inspiration to these kiddos that you can follow your heart and start a business with your family and share with others - and she’s only 15! We made honey sticks, lip balm and had such a wonderful day. Her momma is my childhood friend so it was truly a sweet day in so many ways!

The Cross Five kids are learning all about basic framing skills and how to safely use power tools as we build a dog house from the ground up with Mr. Brody from Prodigal Son Construction. So far we’ve covered planning, budgeting and now we are getting into the build! So fun and great life skills!
