Finally started a project we have been planning for a few years, building a fall/winter buck pasture away from the girls. Up until now boys would go to a fortified dry lot when the girls start going into heat. The plan is to slowly extend the fence into the woods over the winter as we blaze a path until the whole 2 acre wooded lot is enclosed.

This girl’s dam line contains a lot of SGCH does from the Neshaminy Acres herd before they stopped showing in the mid-2010s. This kid should be a fantastic milker just like her dam.

Her sire’s side brings in Taylor Ridge, KBarC, Royal Cedars, Rowes etc and should improve rear udder arch/width.

She has scurs but she would make a great Guernsey breed-up candidate or brood doe. She is very dairy, with lots of length and height just like her dam.
