This week tested us in just about every way possible & our team still made it happen.
The Knoxville Nationals are always the biggest week of our year, & our crew showed up & absolutely showed out.
Behind every burger served, every chicken bite fried, & every customer greeted is a whole lot of work that most people never see. The early mornings, late nights, constant restocking, prep, cooking, dishes, cleaning, reorganizing, dishes again, & somehow doing it all over again the next day. Add in rain, delays, schedule changes, heat, long days & even longer nightsโฆ it was a WEEK.
Through all of it, our people kept showing up.
A huge shoutout to our crew that traveled down from South Dakota to jump in & help us take on this crazy week. We are so thankful you made the trip & became part of the team here in Knoxville!
And to the crew that comes back to us year after year, you know who you are. โก Thereโs something pretty special about having people who have been through the chaos with us before, knows what this week takes, & comes back ready to do it all over again. Youโve become such an important part of what we do & having familiar faces back with us each year makes this week that much better.
Events like this take a village. They take people who are willing to get their hands dirty, stay late, work through the chaos, & keep smiling when theyโre exhausted. We are incredibly proud of the team we have built & so beyond grateful for every single person who helped make this week happen.
To our staff: thank you for giving this week everything you had. We couldnโt do it without you.
And to everyone who stopped by one of our stands: thank you for supporting us, being patient through the craziness, & making what we do all worth it.
Thank you Knoxville Raceway for another incredible Nationals. Thereโs nothing quite like this place in August, & weโre proud to be a small part of the tradition, the energy, & everything that makes this event so special.
Nowโฆ somebody please tell the dishes weโre closed. ๐ฉต๐๐
