Okay, that was brutal! Milked the goats in 91 degree weather but feels like 107! Too much to do earlier with my lovely customers and couldn't get out till later this afternoon. I deserve this yummy sandwich I just made me and I'm going to sit and eat it and do nothing for a while!😲😊

Today was a Sourdough bake day. 1 everything bagel sandwich style loaf, 1 smoked gouda boule and 1 sandwich style loaf and 1 regular artisan boule! I decided I'd like the smoked gouda sandwich loaf and it's so yummy! Love my bread slicer too! 😊

Days like this make milking for 1 1/2 hours, really difficult! Check out the feels like temp cause that's the one that counts with all this humidity! 108!

Today was trying at best.....Pepper our beautiful huge Alpine got her leg tied up in a rope. I have no idea for how long but it had been a while for sure and by the time I found her and saw, she had given up and was just waiting patiently for help. It took me a good 20 minutes to get it all undone and still not sure how she got so tangled but now she has a weak back leg and others are picking on her. She is standing and able to walk but still trying to get circulation back fully. Sprayed with silver and dmso, will keep a watch on it and also give Arnica Montana by mouth. 😊🥰

Still feels like 90 degrees out here while I'm finishing up milking all my mamas! Yes, it's 1:30am and I'm finishing up. This is our normal nightly milking and afternoon is our daytime milking. 😁 It's just what works around here for everything else I do around here. 🤔🫣😊

We are only open from 10am to 2pm. So, now is the time to stock up and save! Hurry on over tomorrow early so you can still enjoy your 4th with family and friends! We have new kids available!! We have bottle babies available now, boys and girls and they are going fast! I will be posting them up on our animal page shortly and donation cost is $150 for boys and $200 for girls. :)
