That’s our girl and we are so proud of her!

It was an honor to attend and participate at the Healthy Beginnings Maryland: 2026 Infant Safe Sleep, Equity, and Prevention Summit hosted by Roberta's House and Maryland Department of Health.

They were very thorough in acknowledging the many gaps that need to be filled in order for families to have the support that they need to have a successful safe sleep journey. I learned a lot that I will be able to extend into our communities and even within myself.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to be on the panel with many other passionate women that share the same mission with this momma.

Of course we all wish this could be a change that happens over night, but the first step is being aware. To know so many passionate people are on this mission gives me a bit of peace. I know across the country we are saving little lives. It’s a big deal!
