Here, you’ll find a family-friendly pub serving up ever-rotating, independent, craft beers and sodas made here in small batches. Our Knoxville taproom is located ten minutes from Red Rock Lake, and adjoins our brewery, which is one of Iowa’s first craft breweries and the first 100 percent woman-owned brewery in the state. Our Founder Megan McKay is a Knoxville native who has made it her mission to
bring great beer, art, and events to her hometown. The taproom was built in an old Nash Rambler dealership that today offers a casual, relaxed atmosphere where you can gather anytime of the year—inside or out. Stop by and sip our gold medal winning beers, Blonde Fatale and Get a Little Hazy. Or enjoy our full line up of flagship beers including Red Rambler, Slightly Blonde, Lake Loop, East Village, or Grapefruit Groove. Interested in a seasonal, a sour, or special release? There’s always something new on tap! On any given day you’ll find a tap-room only release such as Keg of Cookies brewed for the Iowa State Fair, our Cosmic Explorer Hazy IPA, or our brightly-colored Raspberry Sour. Want to get our craft beer or old-fashion root beer to go? Grab a growler, a keg, a 6-pack, or a single. Looking for some Peace Tree merch or a gift card? In the warmer months, we host events, live music, and food carts that you and your friends can enjoy from inside the taproom or outside in the beer garden. We’re a taproom—not a restaurant—which means we don’t offer a full menu of food, but instead serve a variety of snacks, including many from local and Iowa-based businesses.
