Went to the University of Tennessee Spring football game Saturday. I must say I was not expecting the great turn out. Around 48,000 fans showed up to support the Vols. On top of that the pregame activities were pretty good too. Hats off to Thomas Edwards who performed during the pregame activities. If you like country music check him out! Can’t wait for football season! Go Vols!

Ok so sometimes when you’re on vacation in a very busy place, you don’t always feel like waiting in line for hours to get food. Sometimes you also may need a late dinner. This is where fast food comes into play. Now I don’t really care to rate fast food places, I’ve heard this place was really good. So I decided I needed a late meal (around 9pm I think) so I stopped by this place. I must say for fast food I am highly impressed by the taste of this burger! Everything was fresh and the burger was spot on! I was super impressed to say the least. Another positive was the onion rings. Really good onion rings here too. For fast food, this is a place I would highly recommend. 8.2 on the burger rating scale. Probably the highest I’ve ever rated a fast food burger. ✌🏻

Came here for lunch and looked like I came during a busy lunch rush. Despite the crowd, I got my food pretty quick and it came out hot and fresh. I must say all the reviews I’ve saw on the burgers from here were spot on. What a great burger! Everything was so fresh and hot and tasted so good. These folks sure make one great tasting burger and this place is now on my list of places to stop when in Pigeon Forge TN. 9.5 burger rating for this one! Next time you’re in the Pigeon Forge area, make this a must stop for lunch! ✌️

Hamburger Joe’s….. 712 48th Ave S North Myrtle Beach. Well came here on a Monday because most everything else is closed on Monday here. Waited an hour to be seated (to be fair it was very packed due to not many options on a Monday.) I will say the prices are hard to beat here. Very affordable prices. They only accepted cash but have an atm so thats something. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Food got there pretty fast. After eating this burger my thoughts on this place is this: the food reminded me of a really good concession stand burger and fries at a sporting event. Now that’s not necessarily a bad thing. For the price, it was a decent burger. Food was fresh. However , it was NOT worth the hour wait to be seated. However again for the price if I was in a pinch or feeding a lot of people, I would come here again. If you’re on a tight budget and need a place that’s not going to charge you an arm and leg (and is not McDonald’s) this place is a nice alternative. I would rate the burger a 6.5. Has much room for improvement but for what it was, not a bad burger (just don’t wait an hour for it)

It’s that time again! Burger review time! Steak N Shake #4301 on Route 60 East in West Virginia near Huntington. For me, I like nostalgic things. I miss how things were when I was a kid. I miss the old days…. Sometimes. When I think of good burger joints I ate in my younger days two places instantly pop into my head; Five Guys Burgers and Steak N Shake. On my way to Huntington West Virginia, home of the Thundering Herd of Marshall University, I saw a sign that said Steak N Shake on the upcoming exit. Of course I had to stop and grab a bite. Well sometimes nostalgic things aint as good as they once were. I got a double steak burger and fries and a Drink. Neat place they have here as it reminds you of a diner back in the 50s (no Im NOT that old….. yet). So i got my food really fast and the staff here was super nice. The fries tasted good, the burger….. not so much. I added grilled onions on my burger thinking that would just add to the flavor…. Yea….. no 🤦🏼‍♂️. This burger was about as bland as bland could be. Absolutely flavorless. No taste what so ever. Even the pickles had no taste. I guess some things dont age well and for Steak N Shake, as much as it pains me…. Ain’ t what it used to be….. At least for this one. 2.6 score…. Really really low. What a disappointment. 😭

BURGER REVIEW TIME! Cootie Brown’s Bristol Tennessee. I tried the half pound Bison burger. It came with their in house spiral chips which was really good. The burger itself was really good. The ingredients tasted fresh and the burger itself tasted really good. The bun also tasted fresh. As an added bonus, I tried their “famous” key lime pies. Now I’ve been hunting for a good key lime pie since I went to Key West last year. This place NAILS IT!!!! Absolutely best key lime pie outside of Key West! I can see why it’s famous! So for the burger rating I’m really happy with it and give it a 9.2 on the burger rating scale which is really good. As for the key lime pie, yes that’s a 10!!!!!! This place is really kool and the food is amazing and I will definitely be back.

Burger review time. The wife and I stopped by Downtown Flavortown in Pigeon Forge TN. I must say this place is fun. They have a bowling alley, arcade (with a crane machine to win Stanley Mugs, PS5s, etc) and of course the food. The decor was just amazing here and after we had diner, we tried the arcade. (It was fun but I didn’t get a Stanley 😐) As for the food, I order the Mac and cheese bacon burger. It came with fires. The fires were ok. I got ranch to dip my fries in. The ranch could’ve used more flavor. As for the burger, it was a good burger. I loved the Mac and cheese on it. The bun was fresh and the burger itself tasted good, had lots of flavor, and tasted fresh. This place was very fun and I would definitely go back to it. The rating for this burger is a solid 8.1. A very good burger. This is a great place to bring the family for food and fun.

Burger review time! I’m a little late posting this review as it was late December when I ate here but I must say I have found my new favorite burger! Boudiccas is located in the village in Gatlinburg TN. It’s a little hidden but there are signs that’ll lead you to it. This is my new favorite gem in Gatlinburg! I ordered the Beer Cheese Burger and it did not disappoint. The food came out super hot and fresh. The extra beer cheese I order for the fries was amazing and the burger itself was full of flavor. The bun was fresh and tasted amazing. I have to say this is the best burger I’ve ever ate. They say this is the best burger in Gatlinburg…. I say this is the best burger in all of Tennessee. If you’re in Gatlinburg you MUST stop by here and have a burger. I give this burger my highest rating ever. The Beer Cheese Burger ranks at a 9.7….. yes a 9.7!

Not a burger review but I must tell everyone about an amazing breakfast experience. Scrambled Jakes in Knoxville TN. The wife and I ate there and I must say this was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. I had deep fried deviled eggs and they were great. I had a great omelet and for the first time ever, my wife didn’t add sugar to her sweet tea. It was that good. They’ve been awarded best breakfast in Knoxville and I see why. If you’re going to a UT game or just passing by, I highly recommend Scrambled Jake’s!

BURGER REVIEW TIME!!!!!!!
Alright! For today’s review I have here the Arby’s Deluxe Burger. From their app it says it includes the patty, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, burger sauce (yea it’s 1000 island) and the brioche bun. Upon opening my burger from the wrapper the presentation was nightmarish to say the least. The burger itself was not prepared well at all. Toppings begin falling off and the burger sauce (again it’s 1000 island you ain’t fooling no one Arbys) starts going everywhere so going to have to take points away for that. My expectations were not very high at all but I must admit this was a pretty decent burger. The toppings tasted good especially the pickles. (I would highly recommend not putting so much lettuce and sauce on it) the bun was fresh and tasty and the burger itself tasted like it was fresh off the grill at a backyard cookout. The burger definitely exceeded expectation although for the $8.47 price tag I don’t see me going back to get another one anytime soon. Overall I’ll give this burger a 6.8 (0-10 scale) so for a chain that’s pretty high up there. There’s my review. Take care everyone!
